Do you ever have those weekends where you felt so busy, yet you have no clue what you did or where the time went? That’s exactly how last weekend was for us. One of the only things we actually remember doing last weekend is eating at Hikaru Sushi.
Yes, Yoda, old farts we are becoming. Passing out after a night on the town? Hardly. Passing out on the couch while catching up on reality tv on the DVR? Sheepishly, yes. Club music? Not so much. NPR? Yes, please. James Blunt music? Why of course! Per the old fuddy duddy handbook, we usually decide when and where we’re eating out before we leave the house. But on a cold, windy, rainy Saturday, we found ourselves in Clarendon……craving something warm and comforting. Like miso soup. After a quick search on various apps, we decided to take the plunge on a $10 for $20 Living Social “instant deal” at Hikaru Sushi.
Hikaru Sushi is very close to the Courthouse metro stop. Very convenient location, with lots of street parking right in front. We were pleased that the food is pretty tasty, and the service is really great too. Warm miso soup, delicious fried rice, crispy tempura, and generous portions of agedashi tofu really hit the spot. An added bonus is Hikaru Utada music on repeat.
Back, we will be.
